Accessibility Statement

Eli the Bee Guy wants everyone, including people who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, low-vision or living with other disabilities, to be able to use this website and get help with a bee problem.

Ways to reach us

You can contact us whichever way works best for you:

  • Text message: text (626) 487-6052. Texting works just as well as calling, and photos of the bees help us give you a quote.
  • Phone: call (626) 487-6052. We welcome calls through the California Relay Service (dial 711) and video relay services.
  • Email: elithebeeguy1@gmail.com
  • Online form: the quote request form, which can be filled out with a keyboard or screen reader.

We can give you quotes, appointment details and job summaries in writing, by text or email, so you don’t have to rely on a phone call. If you need another accommodation during an inspection or removal, just let us know when you contact us.

What we do to keep this website accessible

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. Some of the ways we work toward that:

  • Photos have text descriptions (alt text) for screen readers.
  • Pages use a clear heading structure and a “Skip to content” link.
  • The site can be used with a keyboard, and links and buttons have visible focus states.
  • Text can be resized with your browser’s zoom without breaking the layout.
  • Animations respect your device’s “reduce motion” setting.

Known limitations

Our bee removal videos are hosted on YouTube, which provides captions that you can turn on in the player. Embedded Google Maps are provided by Google and may not work well with every screen reader; our addresses and service areas are also written out as text on each page. If any video or map isn’t accessible to you, contact us and we’ll describe it or send the information another way.

Report a problem

If something on this website is hard to use, or doesn’t work with your assistive technology, please tell us. Text or call (626) 487-6052 or email elithebeeguy1@gmail.com with the page and the problem. We’ll get back to you, help you get what you need another way in the meantime, and work to fix it.
