Beehive Hidden Behind Shower Tile — Upland, CA
What happened on this job
Honey bees were entering through the outside of an Upland home. Eli traced the heat signature with a thermal camera to a colony hidden behind the bathroom shower tile, then removed it alive.
Like every job, this was a live removal with no chemicals: the bees and all the comb came out, the colony went to a beekeeper, and the entry point was sealed so bees don't move back in.
