Thermal Camera Finds a Deep Bee Colony in a Wall — Fontana, CA
What happened on this job
A heat signature pointed to a colony inside a Fontana wall. When Eli opened it, the hive went far deeper than expected, with honey above and below and brood packed between the studs. Every comb came out so nothing was left to melt or attract new bees.
Like every job, this was a live removal with no chemicals: the bees and all the comb came out, the colony went to a beekeeper, and the entry point was sealed so bees don't move back in.
