Fresh Beehive in a Water Meter Box — North Hollywood, CA
What happened on this job
What looked like a simple water meter box held a full beehive. The comb was so fresh it bent and broke like butter, a sign of a young, fast-growing colony.
Like every job, this was a live removal with no chemicals: the bees and all the comb came out, the colony went to a beekeeper, and the entry point was sealed so bees don't move back in.
