Compost Bin Full of Bees — Los Angeles, CA

Los Angeles, CAFilmed November 23, 2025

What happened on this job

Bees had taken over an old compost bin and had clearly been there a long time, judging by the propolis buildup and the weight of the lid. Eli removed and relocated the colony.

Like every job, this was a live removal with no chemicals: the bees and all the comb came out, the colony went to a beekeeper, and the entry point was sealed so bees don't move back in.
