An exterminator had sprayed this roof hive and left everything behind. Honey was melting and leaking down the stucco, with dead bees and a failed colony in the roof. Eli cut out the comb to stop the damage.
Like every job, this was a live removal with no chemicals: the bees and all the comb came out, the colony went to a beekeeper, and the entry point was sealed so bees don't move back in.
